I don’t generally do many reviews, but I make an exception for
Utter Folly by Paul Bassett Davies.
I declare in interest: I know Paul and he’s one of the funniest people I’ve met, so I was expecting great things from his new novel and I wasn’t disappointed. I’ve just downloaded it, started it, was grabbed from the very beginning. Great energetic fun.
Two people trying to set up a scam, and one of them clearly is two bytes short of a SIM card. The other too clever for his own good. The mark, on the other hand, is only too ripe for plucking.
Things can only get worse for all of them. I can’t wait.
Get it. Read it. Now.
