A terrific evening of complete short stories. We need stories like we need food, nourishing the mind and body respectively. This is a fine line up of accomplished short story writers.

Anne Aylor – Novelist (No Angel Hotel and The Double Happiness Company) and winner of the Historical Novel Society Short Story Award, 2014

Roelof Bakker – Prize winning artist/photographer/publisher/short story writer, published with Unthology.

Alan Franks – playwright (most recently Looking At Lucien) novelist, including Guardian book of the year award for Chronicles of Dr Newgate 2013 and Winner of Wilfred Owen Association International Society poetry competition 2016.

Jowonder – Painter, animator and teller of ‘made up stories that are and aren’t real.’ Founder of British Women Artists competition

Jan Woolf – Author of 4 produced plays and a collection of short stories, Fugues on a Funny Bone – 2010. ‘Jan Woolf has a sexy, vigorous imagination. I love her writing’. (Edmund White)

Charles Harris – Best-selling and award-nominated author of short stories and satirical novel The Breaking of Liam Glass, will be reading from his new story collection – The Cupboard.
